_{Our church is one of many worldwide branches of The First Church of Christ, Scientist in Boston, USA which was established by Mary Baker Eddy in 1879.  Its purpose is to re-establish spiritual healing through scientific prayer. In her book entitled Science and Health with Key to the Scriptures first published in 1875 and which has sold over 9 million copies, she sets out her discovery of the Christ Science which Jesus taught and practiced.}
